A great quick mystery at Christmas another murder solved . Jealousy and revenge a recipe for murder on to the next
I enjoyed this but not as much as some of her others. I voluntarily chose to review this. I've given this cozy a 4*. What bothered me the most was the way she left her boyfriend flapping in the wind, while she went investigating with her brother the cop. At what point does the boyfriend takes a stand or something. Anyway, just my opinion.

A Not So Merry Christmas by Meredith Potts is an Audible book I requested and the review is voluntary. I like the short but clever stories in this series. She helps her boyfriend who is a detective, she is an actress but down to earth. Good mysteries, clues, and characters. Shorter stories but have plenty of gusto!
I love Christmastime and I love cozy mysteries. These stories are about Hope who is an ex TV star who lived in Hollywood, California and now lives in Hollywood, Florida. She has become a self-appointed slueth with a boyfriend, Daniel, who owns a restaurarant and her brother who is a police detective. These stories are easy to read and are clean - meaning no gory details or cursing. You'll enjoy reading how Hope helps her detective brother solve murders in their hometown.

The mystery was pretty good for a cozy short story in that it had an interesting cause of death, a decent suspect pool and red herrings, and plot twists. But although it was very clear that her brother was the homicide detective, there is nothing to indicate why she is allowed to tag along on the investigation. The devil is in the details.
